Solo Instrumental is a rock band that is from Aguascalientes, Mexico. It is an instrumental rock band that doesn’t look for profit. Instead, it creates non commercial music for love of the art, and thus, creating music with any kind of influence or inspiration, even if it’s not that trendy. The music we create is something that makes your soul vibe and turns your spirit on.

Solo Instrumental’s Musical Trajectory:

We released our first disc on July 29th 2006 named “El Centro del Centro (The Center of the Center)” in a concert we organized at the Morelos Theater: the “G4.” We invited other instrumental rock bands like Schematic, Enrique Romero Band, and Govy. On that same year, we won the demo contest that a International Spanish rock magazine, Guitarra total, organized on its 103rd edition on October 2006, and in 2007, Solo instrumental participated in an event called Polifonia Universitaria that took place at the Universidad Autonoma de Aguascalientes: an event that consists in several concerts from several bands that play different styles and lasts for a month. We presented at the Dr. Pedro de Alba auditorium that is in the Universidad Autonoma de Aguascalientes.
In 2008, we presented that the G3Mx concert that took place at Los Arquitos cultural center, and in that same year we participated in an event called “1320 grados de rock” that Aguascalientes Tv organized, in 2009 we presented that the "Ninth Anniversary Aguascalientes FM 92.7", in 2010 we presented that the tv show "Aguascalientes TV de Noche, the band’s short-term plans are, to finish promoting the first disc and release a new one in 2010.

Solo Instrumental’s genre and band inspirations and influences:

Solo Instrumental has some genre influences like, New Age, Pop, Progressive, Heavy Metal, Hard Rock, Symphonic Metal, Fusion, Speed Metal, classical music and Trash. Solo Instrumental also got inspired from several musicians who have been successful over time. Our influences come from historical bands like Julio Revueltas, Carlos Santana, Séptimo Grado, Rata Blanca, and Sergio Vallin, to musicians like Toni Lloret, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Yngwie J. Malmsteen, Shawn Lane, Eric Johnson, John Petrucci, Allan Holdsworth, Paul Gilbert, Vinnie Moore, Frank Gambale, Andy Timmons, Tony Macalpine, Steve Morse, Jason Becker, Michael Lee Firkins, Brett Garzed, Robert Fripp, Chris Impellitteri, Gary Hoey, Marty Friedman, Michael Angelo Batió, Rusty Cooley, Coda, Cristóbal López, Dream Theater, Stratovarius, Nightwish, Iron Maiden, Van Halen, Deff Leppard, Evanescence, Megadeth, Metallica, Carcass, and others.

Solo Instrumental es una banda de rock instrumental originaria del estado de Aguascalientes, México, es un grupo de rock instrumental que no se vende, elige tocar la música que le gusta, sin fines de lucro, lo que realmente les motive sin importarles lo que este de moda ó lo que más venda (la cumbia), por eso de ahí su sonido honesto, con el único fin de ser una música que llegue bien a los oídos, por eso su rebeldía a tocar porquerías, música sin valor, con el único fin de hacer más grande el bolsillo de los productores, un grupo que toca para ellos mismos música que les llena el alma y alimente su espíritu.

Trayectoria del Grupo:

Presento su primer material "El Centro del Centro" en el Teatro Morelos de la ciudad de Aguascalientes en el primer concierto de guitarristas en Aguascalientes "G4" que organizo invitando a otros grupos de Rock Instrumental como Schematic, Enrique Romero Band y Govy, el 29 de Julio del 2006, en ese mismo año su disco gano el concurso de Maquetas (Demos) que organiza la Revista Internacional de España Guitarra Total en su edición #103 del mes de octubre del 2006, en el 2007 se presento en el Auditorio Dr. Pedro de Alba de la Universidad Autónoma de Aguascalientes por parte de los conciertos de Polifonía Universitaria 2007, en el 2008 se presento en el Centro Cultural Los Arquitos en el G3 Mx 08´, también en el mismo año participo en el evento "1320 Grados de Rock" que organiza Aguascalientes TV, en el 2009 el tema "Solok" de su primer disco gano como mejor canción en la Segunda Entrega de Premios ROCK CITY a lo mejor del Rock Hidrocálido, toco en ese mismo año en el 9° Aniversario de Aguascalientes FM 92.7, en el 2010 fue invitado al programa “Aguascalientes TV de Noche” de Aguascalientes TV, sus planes inmediatos es cerrar el ciclo de su primer disco y sacar un nuevo material para mediados del 2010.
